Autumn's Sunrise
September 3rd 2007 12:45
thank you Wendi for the inspiro of Autumn's sunrise..
Life is in the eye
of the Gazelle
the plantations abuzz
with fire and the sound
of threshing
the smell of fruit fills
our nostrils; we are warm
and keen for the fresh
baked bread, we hear the little
roses under the back window
speak; let it go, let it die
away under the spell
of Autumn's sunrise

I love this... really really love this, and as Autumn plays peek-a-boo with the end of Summer, your poetic insights awaken parts of me that have been sleeping for far too long.
My favorite bit:
roses under the back window
speak; let it go, let it die
away under the spell
of Autumn's sunrise
I decided, too, that I'm going to spend some time today copying my "Lily-Inspired" poetry tag writings onto abstract magick... I've never saved copies of the poetry your "tag" has inspired, and I'd like to preserve them.
Thanks for helping my muse remember herself.
