I am winter in summer, an abandoned barn
..I am a muddy yard, a one hinged gate
....I sit heavily on rotting oaken rungs

I am a snipped flower, a dug up root
..I am an unplayed drum, a netherworld rhythm
....I dance bare to a snow capped mountain

I am a bolting mare, a perilous ride
..I am a laboured pant, a wild eyed breath
....I wade in rivers with the colts of serendipity

Although a sad tone you sound free in this one, floating around the place. All these images conjure up beautiful scenes to me, lonely, sad, but beautiful too. I think this is your best Lily!

I like this too, Lily, I pick up the spirited movement, the revolt and your control, I don't see sadness, but maybe I'm missing that. Although I see the hardness that life has dished out.
