Kitten

I’ve missed you...

My eyes fell upon
your rising smile
and your eyes
your mesmeric eyes
they live
they reach

You spark my cold wood
and warm my blood
with that smile
those eyes
you know that
Kitten?

Aww Kittens Lily... so adorable, what's not to melt your heart?

Beautifully captured, it reminds me of a melody a friend of mine wrote on her guitar after watching kitten playing around a bowl of milk... both so truly inspiring.

Does kitty have a name?

Dianna G, thank you very much...

Me too Tracy, i have certain poems i will seek out to set the mood, or they find me.. thinking of you today.. *HUGS*

Her moods are as dark as they come Kleo, but she'll always be my kitten..

Lilla, lol 'Kitten' is my 12yo daughter. I swear she thinks she's a cat. All her life she's been wiggling her tail. I used to find her lapping milk from a bowl in the kitchen lol.. she's evolved now, into a Cheetah.. i hope you're resting up good, give it time...

thank you muchly Lara..

hey Tracy.. 'kitten' is still in her nightie and reading a book about deers, called 'Fire Bringer'. If she's not drawing creatures, she's reading about them.

*hugs*

haha adorable she is.. headstrong too, no way she's getting out of that nightie, she tells me she wants to stay in bed all day. i know the feeling

I'm trying to seam one of her pictures and take out the shadows the scan put in. I'll post it when it's ready. It has four creatures based on her and her friends. I'm biased but i love this picture. Kitten can capture kittens good.

soon,
~Lily

Gosh that pic sounds unusual....would love to see it when it's done. have you studied that kind of art/design before, how did you learn how to do that?

i've studied a little art before, but never studied creatures. I'm learning a lot from her as she tells me the stories behind her characters. As far as seaming and scanning and the computer rendering stuff goes, i'm flying by the seat of my pants there.

Kitten and Possum and i just made ourselves as Simpson's characters. School holiday fun!

You made that? That's amazing and so unusual. Gosh, what a wonderful and interesting relationship you and your daughter have. You're both very talented.
