Lily...your name and your 'voice' has a lovely lilt...
This really resonates with me. It may be "weird" but it's so compelling. It's innocent and odd and visually melodic and thought provoking and strangely nostalgic.
I don't really know what I mean by all this, it's just how I feel.
Thank you so much for your comment of feeling.. the best kind... i'm not sure why she thought of Rhino's .. probably because her brothers were doing it.. but it was so much fun.. obviously; i've never forgotten it. Let me tell you about our 20foot up rope-ladder trap door willow tree cubby house one day... they were there too...
Not a lot to comment on here, with this one, is there, really? so I'm sending you some new connections
to get the mind going again! Love the red.
Do you realize your comments are longer than your post - good way to go!
Happy Painting and experimenting - in the purest possible way, disregarding the subconscious,
of course, which I've a bad habit of calling the unconscious. Must keep practicing what I am preaching!
Thanks for the neuron connectors, i could certainly do with them, as my head is done in .. at the moment.. it usually rights itself after a while, bit like waiting for the telly to stop scrolling.. well you know what i mean..
I plan to 'MS Paint' later on today; perhaps Ophelia as a subject...who knows what the result will be?? it's always the unknown factor before i paint that excites me.
I also use ArtRage program, great for real live brush strokes and paper textures, and sometimes Photoshop helps with a render or two, good for re-sizing too.
Thanks for taking an interest in my Blog too katyzz, much appreciated.
i thought it was just a me and the bros thing, i swear...
i did teach the kids in the street; so maybe it caught a breeze got to your family lol -- mine used to sit on better than the rest because i have a broken nose (ouch fuck too much blood), with a little flat bridge for them to sit on .. my party trick along with the little toe that i can bend backwards (another broken bone along with all the other broken things) .
enough rambling; i must write flee into the warmth of my bed and ponder that cubby up 20feet in the willow tree... addendum big spider...
katyzzz.. Mrs M found some connectors i guess
and in the purest possible way, disregarding the subconscious .. my mind already looks like your picture; and so much more.......
i am admonishing you in the nicest possible way ...
sarcasm is a compliment...

Mum's Word
Sticking rose thorns on your nose isn't weird. I used to do it all the time - my whole family did.
You just took me back to a time I had long forgotten.
Ah, the things you do when you're young.
Love & stuff
