My Satchel

The stale tidbits
in my satchel
are keeping their head
above water and
hanging in there
i want to upend it
shake them all out
and scavenge for
moon walkers
and sun huggers

Flashes of memories
Another cryptic one but as always very poetic.
For me? Sometimes it is good to clear the bits that gather... have a good clean out and shake up and look for the beauty in something new.
You look at the world through wonderful eyes

Mum's Word
My handbag has all sorts of tidbits in it that are my lifeline.
Mr M for his life can never find anything in there ie my phone, wallet, a pen, tissues.
I don't think my handbag is as poetic as your satchel.
Love & stuff

Bags are a lot like life Ash, gathering debris of unwanted baggage. Baggage in the baggage. Thanks for your eyes here dearheart.

seeread you..I call my bag 'the black hole', because whenever i look for something, usually important and immediate like KEYS that i just put in there 5 minutes ago, it seems to run away from my hand. I always go back and look again, as i know the Martians will give them up sometime.
You would be surprised at how poetic your handbag is;
a phone, a portal of ins and outs
a wallet for cash for the neverending hands
just in case receipts
and mug and brag shots
keys for driving little souls around
a pen for autograph signing
and snippets of information
tissues to blot the lippy
or wipe a teary eye
mainly used for snotty noses
papers with a few needed words
amongst a lot of useless words
lipgloss for a pretty touch
spare buttons you'll never use
panadol for when your hand gets lost
in the black hole

But in the hidden pockets? Those secret zip-away storage spaces? Well, faerie dust and unrealized dreams. *soft smile*
Geesh... I really should clean this thing out! It seems more like a trash bag than anything else. *giggles*

Moon beams skip....
and dance with delight
upon starry skies
we see at night.....
The dawn arrives
a wonderous sight
the rays of the
sun hug the world tight

I cannot articlulate why but...I'm hearing this like a Jim Morrison poem set to music (like Stoned Immaculate and no, I'm not)...plus the image...it's...eerie...and makes me want to rub my eyes and look again.
Very intriguing ~Lily love.
And playful yet...painful?
Big hugs hon...

A little elmo lived in my bag for a long time. I think when i finally threw him out, he was 99% slobber
Bags are multi-purpose, are they not? we have a ready garbage bag at our disposal, and of course, the black hole and the special little zipped up worlds. I have a few special stones in there, they remind me. I try not to leave the zips open, but they always manage to get that way.
I love it that you use a green pen, i use only pink or black.
mucha love to you miss Wendi,

A huge compliment to me Dusk, Jim is one of my favourite poets (secondarily, musician). Yes painful, and yet it made a lot of people smile apparently. Interpretation is a gamble.
The blur on the image would make one rub their eyes, i know i had to look twice and adjust the lens when i first saw it, but yeah, it's meant to be like that, and it fits perfectly.
Beams,
