my poor poor ars
poetica, neglected
sobbing in a corner
a feeble 'feed me'
'wave some transmissions
my way'?
sorry blog don't sob
but i am gathering &
hammering pegs
for the tent of my job
ah to be so inspired
day and night
fires and earthquakes
the crack of lightning that
woke me up at midday?
enough adrenalin to
start a heart

But when inspiration comes naturally - that's what keeps me going.

bottom line is i don't have time.. and when i do, it has to come straight from the straits of the heart, top of the dome no edit sorta thing, yeah?

i used to enjoy writing a lot more in the past, then i found one day my muse had left me, and i had nothing to say that hasn't been said before, i let that stop me writing, i let a lot of things stop me writing, doing the thing that i'm most passionate about.. the most pressing one, is a job, the permanent kind, the one that means i won't have to worry at night about the wolves that scan my door, you know? anyway i'm working & finding time to interact with the world again, on my terms, in my (spare) time, feels good Sam.. thanks so much for your encouraging words, much appreciation, i will step into your blog and read a while..

suffering of the "slings and arrows" of life, feeds and strengthens the poet's voice, their life-blood!

Yeah, I have 'atypical Trigeminal neuralgia' which is caused by a fall I had off a horse years ago - all this time, its been a damaged nerve.
Voices in my head? Nerve noise. Visual hallucinations? Nerve misfiring. Since my new medication Ive been active and leaping out of bed - not a touch of depression. Its quite amazing really.
