Soothe Refrain
November 5th 2007 09:00
in the rain down
i was Cinderella
no shoes, toes wriggling
dare darting from eyes
that have swam in chords
and wandered in song lines
I cannot lie
hung up, flung up
never hang up
pain is evident
in valleys of resignation
hearts under the covers
in the lining, in the far apart
to myself
breath bouncing off walls
we forgo the chaise
lover, splay your fingers
and I will fill the in between
come
~Lily

QUOTE ME NO QUOTES!

Hi Lily,
those lines took me back, to my childhood, the wiggling toes, puddles and dares, this is an intriguing poem, as it has a current that flows and splashes with emotion, yes, I liked it.
cheers

for this soothing refrain...
where I felt myself,
dance again ...
between those
wiggling toes.
Beautifully melodic...
Thanks for this poetic...
verse...
still immersed...
