twitpoems
30
last day of april / autumn musing / NaPoMo fun
29
sky of deep azure /waves dance their rhythm in & out/to & fro/creatures of the deep blue/surface/keeping their eye on you/ sky of deep azure
28
the apples dressed up, fairy and cat, we love wonderland
27
a basket of / green apples / one pink lady
26
nothing is permanent / even our worries / take it easy on yourself
25
the night she beckons my head / my mind a boat on a stormy sea / up-ended / i swim toward the cove
24
when the boxkite got stuck in the power lines / the whole neighbourhood came out / you released it / you were a box kite hero
23
when you see the end of the line / keep walking / a new road begins at the end of this one
22
don't walk with drifting mists / stay where you are / the fog will lift
21
damn the velvet glove / feels like home / cold when i peel it off / and scars revealed
20
give until it hurts / then give more / then give and give again / creates a bigger heart / make room for love
19
we fall into / the same old grooves / too naturally
18
she dances for me / a performance like when she was little / she's taking up ballet
17
when the rain / traps you in / listen to her song
16
i've had 4 hours sleep / am i in an episode of the twilight zone? / the tv is sulking in white noise land / and ima laying my head
15
moon is hiding / birds are nesting / neighbourhood dogs howl / someone yells shut up
14
sore legs / refreshed eyes / walk in the park
13
big bright pearl / above the mountain / peeking through the trees
12
my heart / is open / only to you
11
infinite chatter / the world is a big place / feel it coming in from all sides / take an aerial view
10
i like cats / don't like bats / koalas make me smile
9
it's all been said before / there's nothing new / under the sun
8
i remember you / taking my hand / walking to the Ferris wheel
7
we write to give voice / to the silence we fear / prepare the way
6
raining / soul time / listening
5
she liked evenings best / it covered her insecurities / a blanket of dreams
4
we cannot justify what we have done / only feel guilt and shame / hang our heads and pray
3
far far from primal instincts / we throw another log on the fire / and can't get by without slippers
2
every time i write a poem / i ditch it in the bin / tip it all out
1
starshine / crickets chirping / trees in silhouette

Thanks for asking. I am better than I was, but wasted again after a hard week of two psychic fairs and my regular day reading in the shop.
I have four days off now though and intend to rest up and read, read, rest, sip herbal tea, workout, read some more; meditate, exercise, rest, read, eat, read, pray, play a little guitar (learning a new song), watch a couple movies and sip some cowboy; rest, sip more tea, pray and meditate some more; cook, listen to new CD, veg out in the veggi patch; spend time with the kids, cat and fish, try to get a bit more of the bibliography finished on my book (argh it is so slow going) and perhaps write a couple orble posts that are bubbling away in my head . . and try and snooze a little each afternoon.
Resting is such hard work, isn*t it?
I was thinking of going up to the mall at some stage and throwing myself into one of those $2 massage chairs for $10 worth? God knows I have earned it, but I don*t want to spend $50 on a back massage as I have daughties birthday party coming up!
I have booked a chakra alignment and energy healing session for early next week. Oh and I have finally decided to make an appointment with the doctor for a check up on Monday too. No use hurrying these things. As always i will probably play placid little pin cushion and get the orthodox diagnosis, but then seek out the alternative therapy, or cure.
I am heartsick though and will have to attend to matters of the heart fairly soon too, I guess. I have put that off long enough too. But BIG changes are always so hard to make, the unknown so hard to contemplate when alone and carrying such heavy burdens as children*s futures in your knapsack . . UNO.
Hope you have found peacful work and rest too.
