I wrote and wrote
and battled the wheel
for a different ending
and i found myself heading
in the same direction as birds
as they sought their nests and rose
above wheeled and driven things
Well Lily...I'd give ya more but it's a touch outta my league. I loved the pic and it seemed to go quite well with the poem.....So the best I could muster was "cool." I'm a bit of a simpleton I must admit....but I do not take back my original take...................."Cool"...................
'cool!!!!!!!' -- is a top compliment in my book; i mean, look at all those exclamation marks.. truly..
your 'type' isn't any different to my 'type'
see? we both type lol
for the league; the poem is about a new destination for an embattled soul... (later i realised there are no headlights, mayhaps driving by moonlight and bird cries? i'm still learning about myself)
Thanks Lilly for explaining that cuz it makes a whole lot more sense now....It's poetic even....Oh yeah...It was supposed to be huh??? LOL I can get into this stuff when in the right mood...apparently I'm there! I look forward to more from you....Even if I don't get it .....I think it's "COOL"
You're most welcome Tommy, and thank you for letting me know you needed some understanding. It probably doesn't help that it's written in one whole sentence broken up into lines. If you ever feel the need to ask a question about a poem; this here poet would be most grateful.
you know something? To me, 'getting' poetry is not so much wrapping your head around the words so much, as to how it makes you 'feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel' .. and if your first throught was 'cool', then that can only be a sign for me to keep driving to where the light and birds are. As you can see in my earlier comment, i'm still understanding the fucker myself *lol*
you leave me smiling every time you come back, thanks ~t
Ah, tis good to hear you have spent time in their peaceful nest. My birds are very special, and tell me they enjoyed the company of the big-hearted Lilla. All eyes on moon and birds, and p(s)alms up to fresh beginnings.

Having returned form nature's rest,
meditation and
yoga time....I am rejuvinated as if I had spent the afternoon with your birds...
indeed the treetops is the only place to be...
hold your arms outstretched, palms up...repeat after me...
Oohmmm, Aaaaah, EEEeee...
